Description
Substation Engineering Services specialises in providing technical resources to the power industry. The company is widely recognised as one of the leading High Voltage Electrical Engineering businesses in the country.

The Company is looking to recruit a permanent, full time Project Assistant to work in a busy engineering office environment to compliment the existing team.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be methodical and have meticulous attention to detail
• Have at least 2 years experience in a similar position
• Be familiar with project terms and conditions
• Be able to present data / information to managers
• Strong written and communications skills
• Have respect for confidentiality with sound judgement and decision making skills
• Have the ability to prioritise your own workload using excellent time management skills
• Be computer literate, with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point
• Have excellent research skills

Under the guidance of the Project Manager you will perform support functions to the project team including budget and programme monitoring. You will be involved in monitoring / tracking of project deliverables, correspondence and communications with suppliers, recording of project variations and maintenance of project files.

Educational Qualifications

• A university degree or equivalent is desirable
• Good standard secondary education qualifications
